Cédric Berger

Cédric has been working in private equity for 18 years. From 2016 to 2023, he served as a Partner and Operating Partner at Extens, a fund specializing in healthcare software investments. During this period, Cédric played a pivotal role in raising capital for Extens e-Health Fund II and Extens e-Health Fund III. In 2013, Cédric co-founded ArchiMed, a company focused on investments in healthcare businesses. All team members had previously worked for the UK-based investment fund 3i. ArchiMed has experienced remarkable growth, establishing itself as one of the leading global private equity funds in the healthcare sector. Prior to this, Cédric was Head of the Venture Capital division at NCI (2011-2013) and served as Investment Manager at UI Gestion (2007-2011) and at 3i (2006-2007).
Cédric is a graduate engineer from ESIEE Paris and holds an MBA from the University of Oxford.

After over two decades of sales and marketing development within major European and Global Investment Management groups (Amundi, ODDO BHF and La Française), Stephen founded Princeps Advisors, an independent advisory venture, in 2019. Since 2020, Stephen has been Managing Director and Partner of Finalpha in charge of Business Development. Stephen is a seasoned sales and marketing professional in the Investment Management business. He has notably grown top-class skills in opening new markets and designing tailor-made solutions for demanding investors. Stephen is a postgraduate in Finance from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP) as well as a postgraduate (DEA) in Applied Mathematics with Economics from La Sorbonne University. Stephen is also a Certified European Financial Analyst (CEFA).
David Moos

David co-founded Finalpha in 2008 after working as Sales Director for IT Asset Management. David has accumulated 24 years of sales and marketing experience during which he collaborated closely with French speaking and Italian investors in the fund industry. Before 2001, he was a Senior Forex Trader at Crédit Agricole Group. David co-founded MicroFinance Solidaire (France) with Entrepreneurs du Monde. Outside of investment, David assumes the role as the General Secretary of Yabne Education Group. David graduated from l’Institut Supérieur de Gestion (Paris) and attended Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (Paris)’s economics lectures.

Jean-François Hirschel is the founder and CEO of H-IDEAS, a company dedicated to restoring trust in the financial world since 2017. His professional expertise lies in the strategic positioning of financial services companies at brand and product level. Jean-François Hirschel has held senior management positions at Société Générale and Unigestion. He holds an MSc from EPFL Lausanne, Switzerland, and has in-depth knowledge and experience in institutional, private and retail banking and asset management. He is the co-inventor and co-author of RIBITM (the Responsible Investment Brand Index), the only index that measures how and how well asset managers reflect their responsible investment convictions in their brands.

Othmane Rachedi is an investment management professional with over 14 years of experience in capital raising, institutional portfolio management and growing firms’ international presence in Europe and the Middle East. From 2022 to 2025, he served as Director of Client Strategy at One River Asset Management in Stamford, CT, where he raised significant capital for the firm's systematic strategies, spearheaded the launch of a Risk Mitigation UCITS fund and led the engagement with the largest sovereign funds in the GCC and pension funds in Europe. Previously, as Vice-President at Ruffer LLP, he developed strategic investor relationships in the Middle East, managed multi-asset portfolios, and contributed to the firm’s Paris office setup post-Brexit.
Othmane holds a Master’s in Management from ESCP Business School and is a CFA charterholder. Fluent in English, French, and Arabic, he combines strong client engagement skills with analytical expertise. Beyond finance, he is the founder of a boutique hotel in Morocco, a marathon runner, and a jazz enthusiast learning to play the Oud lute. He is based in NYC.

Philippe has accumulated 25 years of sales and marketing experience during which he collaborated closely with French and Israeli investors in the fund industry. Patrick is partner at A2 Consulting. He has over twenty five years of experience in the management in the institutional sector (insurance, pensions, …). Patrick has also spent over a dozen years participating in the field of academic research, specifically in market finance and corporate finance. Viallanex was Director of Operations and Risk at the Ag2r La Mondiale Investment Directorate (2013-2015). He was previously Managing Director of Agicam (Ag2r La Mondiale portfolio management company) and member of the Management Board of Prado Epargne (Ag2r La Mondiale employee savings company) (2004-2013). From 1989 to 1998, he pursued a career as a researcher, (Aix-Marseille III University, Euromed, University of Geneva, HEC and University of Québec in Montréal). Patrick Viallanex is a graduate in Economics and holds a DEA Money-Banking-Finance degree from Aix-Marseille III University.

Philippe was President of Monceau Asset Management (the asset management company of the Monceau Assurances group). He is a graduate engineer from the Ecole Navale, a certified actuary from the Institut des Philippe. is a French actuary, and holds a PhD in Economics from Paris-I Sorbonne. The subject of his thesis was: “Selecting equity managers: the contribution of behavioral and emotional finance.” He was Professor of Emotional and Behavioral Finance at the SFAF. He is Honorary President of the “Société Française des Sélectionneurs de Fonds (SF2)” (French Society of Fund Selectors), an association he founded in 2018.
